Tristan Gutteridge – Optometrist
B.VisSci / M.Optom
Tristan graduated from Deakin University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Vision Science and a Master of Optometry. Tristan enjoys offering full scope optometry care to his local Rosny community but has developed special interests within optometry, including myopia control, glaucoma co-management, diabetes, soft contact lenses, and the management of dry eye and red eye conditions. He is therapeutically endorsed to prescribe eye drops. He currently serves as the Professional Services Manager for Eyelines Tasmania, where he provides education and support to his colleagues within the organisation. Tristan enjoys developing the future eye health generation so he regularly supervises optometry students and mentors new graduates. Additionally, Tristan works as a casual academic at the University of Western Australia.
Outside the optometry room, Tristan enjoys dabbling in multiple sports with a particular love for soccer. He is blessed with a wonderful wife and a beautiful black labrador called Gary.
