Dante Gillies – Optometrists

Dante graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Doctor of Optometry (OD), following her Bachelor of Medical Science (B.MedSci). After two years practising in Perth, she has relocated to Tasmania with her partner, who is also an optometrist, in search of new opportunities and a lifestyle closer to nature.
Having grown up in regional Western Australia, Dante is passionate about delivering high-quality eye care to regional communities. She takes the time to truly get to know her patients, allowing her to provide a personalised and considered approach to every consultation. Dante also has a strong clinical interest in ocular pathology and enjoys collaborating closely with GPs and ophthalmologists to support comprehensive patient care.
