Alisa graduated from Flinders University where she completed her Bachelor of Vision Science (Medical Science)/Master of Optometry, and graduated with a Clinical Excellence Award. Alisa was born in Launceston but grew up in Adelaide, returning to Launceston years later to enjoy the slower pace and beautiful nature in Tasmania. Alisa enjoys providing a full scope of primary eye care that is accessible to everyone, but does have a special interest in the relationship between ocular and systemic pathology and enjoys working collaboratively with local GP’s and Ophthalmologists to provide the best care for patients
In her spare time, you will find Alisa behind her pottery wheel, where she makes ceramic pieces with an Australian Native flora and fauna motif. She occasionally shows these at the local Evandale market, so if you see her stall “Little Wattle Art”, please say hello!
