Riya Makan – Optometrists
Riya hails from sunny Queensland, graduating from the Queensland University of Technology in 2019 with a Bachelor of Vision Science and Master of Optometry. She has a passion for soft contact lenses, myopia control and providing thorough and comprehensive eye examinations to all her patients. She takes pride in getting to know patients to better understand their needs and provide them with the most appropriate management specific to their requirements. Riya mainly works at the Hobart and Rosny stores.
Riya lived in Launceston for four years and is now thoroughly enjoying being based in Hobart and exploring the south of Tassie. When she’s not testing eyes at Eyelines, you may find her running with a local run club, hiking up a mountain or playing viola in various groups around the state.
